Recap to Back Home

I can't believe I started this blog about a year ago and thought the rough year abroad would never be over. I so wish I would've kept it up and continued blogging about all of the wonderful places I visited throughout the year...From north to south of England (Whitby, York, Harrogate, LEEDS, tiny bit of Liverpool, Brighton, and London!), throughout Germany (Munich, Dresden, Heidelberg, Berlin), Prague, Salzburg, Paris.

So here I am back home, trying to decide what I want to do with my life. I watched Julie & Julia tonight, therefore, I am blogging once again -- at least for tonight! But the movie made me feel better about not knowing what I want to do at only 23. So I'm exploring my options... teaching German, teaching music, studying more..but what? Temp jobs, restaurant jobs, retail...none of which I'm too interested in. What I'd love to do is something in fashion or maybe journalism, but that's not uncommon for a 20-something girl right out of college who reads too much Vogue and Perez Hilton! So maybe I'll take some classes, while I work on my teacher certification, and decide what I'm going to be when I grow up. I guess I still have time...I'm not quite grown up yet.

So I've found it difficult to post and upload pics and keep up to date, so I've found an easier alternative...
I got a mobileme account with mac so that I can just take my pictures directly from my computer and put them on a website that everyone can access...so I'm working on getting that up to date, but here's the website in case you want to see Europe pictures!
Love yall!

PARIS: Jour Un!

Bonjour Paris!!
On our first day in the beautiful city, we went straight to the Champs Elysées and L'Arc de Triomphe!

Then of course to eat lunch! French fries in France!!
In the Café next to L'Arc de Triomphe!
Then we decided to take a walk...
And found Carrie Bradshaw's hotel...Plaza Athenée
Did some shopping...
Chanello!!

Then stumbled upon this restaurant next to the Eiffel Tower!
So we decided we needed to celebrate with Pink Champagne...

We made our way back to the Champs Elysées, had dinner at another Café...and saw the lights...

The hills are alive....

Ok so the real reason we went to Salzburg was not for the Gnomes, but for the Sound of Music tour! This Pegasus is seen in the movie when they're running around the fountain!
This is of course the palace they used for the back of the Von Trapp house! And the lake where they all fall out of the boat!
I am 16 going on 17....
Here come's the bride.... (Not me...)
Mom and I both want to get married there...too late mom...
Maybe I have a chance though!

The end!
